The east coast of koh phangan is the most exciting part of the island to be experienced by boat. Orion will take you up the east coast to discover the different beaches that the island has to offer.
Firstly you will be collected from your resort by car taxi, and driven to than sadet beach, stopping off at the beautiful than sadet waterfalls once visited by their majesties king v and vii and ix of thailand. at different points along the falls they have carved their initials on the huge granite rocks that grace this river. after visiting main pools, you will be taken down to Than Sadet Beach, where the long tail will leave from.
On the river behind the mai pen rai restaurant you can see monitor lizards in their natural habitat, and enjoy some coconut juice at the beach. First stop with long tail will be Mae Had Beach, where there is the koh maa small island and coral reef. this spot provides excellent snorkelling.
Next stop will be haad khom, another beautiful beach with crystal clear waters for snorkelling. On the return journey back, you will stop at bottle beach, one of the more secluded beaches of the Island, and then Thong Nai Pan Noi and Yai.
You will be then returned to than sadet early evening, and when you are ready to leave you will be taken back to your resort. Soft drinks, sandwiches, and fruit will be provided on the boat, and pick up and return transfer is included in the price. The itinerary can be changed slightly depending on weather conditions. A change of clothes is recommended, and ample sunscreen and a sun hat.
